3 flights of stairs

The old drivers rostrum when just the 4 lane track in the room, 3 floors up with just a window frame between you & the pavement.

Eddie, in future all racers will have their feet firmly on the floor....the one built by the Wellingborough club members themselves...

The last act before the curtain closes - the finals of the Front-Engine Sports class, fittingly, as John Roche says on another thread, by our Racing Secretary himself, Mick Kerr - who was a racer at the very first event at Wellingborough.

The Scalex track moves out today - here's to Rockingham Slot Car Club and all the club members who made it happen

The final rag bag band of racers face the last ever night at Wellingborough Scalextrc Club. Yes, Mr Kerr is really that small!

Thanks to all at Wellingborough - I attended a couple of John's vintage events there and it was really a great place, with very friendly people and two excellent tracks! Loved the building too...
