Some (long) time ago I was selling a Mk3 Cortina (God, that ages me, I was very young then though). Guy phoned up, loved everything about the car, milage, condition etc.
Last thing he asked: What colour is it?
Me: Green.
Him: Green!
Me: Yes.
He hung up!
I think people still see green as an unlucky colour!
