I`ve been collecting long enough to know which cars are rare but my question is more personal. Which car are you searching for that perhaps the guys here can help you find. So what have you been trying to add to your collection but just cannot pin one down?

For me it`s the older SCX 6 wheeled Tyrell, boxed and mint. I see a few at swapmeets etc but I want one in mint condition. I saw one at Seans a couple of years ago for £85 and didn`t get it, fool that I am. What about you guys? Anyone rich enough to be seeking that Scalextric blue Bugatti or an Auto Union

Being in the States, I would like to complete my collection of Aurora American Classics. There were 8 of them, the GTO, GT40, Mustang, Cobra, Chaparral, Comet, Corvair and Barracuda. They came in four colors, red, white, blue and yellow. The red and blue had silver stripes on them, while the white and yellow had red stripes. They all had an American flag on the each door.

I have the GTO in all 4 colors, the Mustang in red and the GT40 in white. I am missing the other 5 all together.

They aren't the fastest cars, but man are they fun to drive!

Unfortunately, if I could find them, it would probably bankrupt me to buy them!

GT40,

Yep, they are A-Jets. The 8 I am referring to are called "American Classics". The two you have are part of the 8.

The American Classics have the stripes and the American Flags on the door.

The K&B models had numbers and different paint schemes.
