Just been going thru my pre-orders at GetSlotted and seeing when they are likely to come out and therefore what my cash flow needs to cope with. Anyway thought I'd share with you what they are and see what has really floated your boats and made you pre-order.

SCX - WRC Xsara (Sainz), Focus (Martin), Subaru (Solberg), Mitshibusi (?), Peug 307 (Gronholm) and Lancia Integrale

Bit of a mixed bag but concn on WRC.

Expensive and had better start saving and getting out my lame excuse book as to why all these package turn up.

I don't like to pre-order too many cars in advance as I do not want to commit myself too early, as I may change my mind.
Having said that though, I have pre-ordered through Pendle two of the soon to be released Racer 330 P4's. That alone will make a big hole in my pocket.
The only other car I have pre-ordered at the moment is the Team Slot 'Alitalia' Stratos from GS. I assume by the lack of an email confirming dispatch that I have missed the first batch. Can anybody from Getslotted confirm the current stock status ?

I do have expensive tastes I must admit. But, I do like the quality that goes with it, especially as MCFC thrashed MU last sunday 4-1. Sorry MU fans, but I just had to mention it.

My budget could probably stretch to sorting out Leeds!!

I'm actually very organised in my financial out lays on slot cars (Leeds needed to have been) - I have a £20 a week 'pocket money' for everything personal except work related thing e.g shoes, dry cleaning, etc. I do a bit of wheeling a dealing via ebay (e.g bought a shed load of shop stock, split it up and made a nice healthy profit), and I fund all my slot car purchases that way.

With my pre-orders I need to do some wheeling and dealing sharpish.

Just added a Autoart Muira to my list now.

Mo55man - GS showing stratos as back order now - best way is to login and check your order history to see if it is still there or been dispatched. Email notification should work automatically but always worth double checking. If still 'waiting to be dispatched' give Simon a ring to find out when likely to be available.

OK, Thanks Matt for the info. I'll give GS a ring this afternoon. Maybe if they are not due in again until next month I could afford to purchase a Cartrix NSX in the black 'Takarta' livery to make up for the temporary disappointment.
Anybody got any feedback on the NSX's as far as racing them is concerned. Are they as locked down as the Hyundai's ??

Hi all,

With sooo many choices and a decent collection of stocklists within the Toronto area, I have taken the opposite tack.

I use a "see it first" policy. I believe its the manufacturer's job to ensure decent distribution and I enjoy looking at the boxes, seeing my choices side by side, comparing prices, finding the odd sale item.

Luckily two shops with decent stock are within a 2 minute walk from my house, two other suburban shops are near one of my clients who I see at least every two weeks (and then drop in after my meeting!) and the one mega slots palce, Raceworld, gets a monthly visit.

I'm still catching up on my 2003 list!

2004 ought to see a few make it into my collection...

For sure, 2 Ninco 934s (Jagger and Vaillant liveries), a Slot-It Audi R8C (Le Mans Race livery) and a Slot-It NewMan Porsche 962.

The maybe list is way too long!

I usually hold on hard to my cash, and wait around for sales or buy mostly kits. But I might make an exception for the Lister Stor LMP. I bought a fly Lister Storm a few weeks ago, and man I like it a lot! There's just something about it! I've also had my eyes on the LMP from the word go. But seriously they shouldn't run out of stock super quickly really. So I might just wait around until I see it over at Seans site...
Looking forward to the Fly Carrera too!

Nice location you've got there Ken! I'd love to have that nice shops closeby, I do have two about 20k's away though, but they are a pit pricey. So most of my spending are done over at Pendle...

Only one car currently on order which is the next Scaley GT40. Other than that I just have the Revell-Monogram figures pre-ordered.

I am currently busy building my home layout so most of my spare cash has gone on the wood required for the base and tables and scenic stuff. New cars have to take a back seat for the moment

I am going to have to find 30 quid for the new Lotus 72 though.
