I'll upload it to my Cults account at some point and put it on my website as well, just thought I would offer it here first.

McLaren M20, much lighter than the Carrera version. Not sure it will be faster than the Slot.It M8s though.

I'm trying to blank the gorgeous CanAm cars from my mind as I still have a backlog of Grp6 and Grp C cars ;)
3D Export didn't help by offering 50% off for Christmas.......
How about a Porsche 718? Just enough filament to finish off a spool.

Some friends at the Northern Club comissioned me(well actually they were a gift for the club) some trophies for the Wise Men Trophy Race to be held this Jan 6th, so searching in the web found the 2021 Imola Trophy which is really nice, so printed them on my Ender 3 pro and painted them with chrome , really nice result, I like 😀

A fellow club member has acquired some Scalextric cars that lack their DPR doors. We race analogue on wood so he wanted some just to close the hole in the chassis. I drew this up and decided I might as well put a standard Scalextric magnet holder in there as well in case anyone wanted to add some weight for wood track racing, or move the included weight from the rear to a front position. Just about finished with a few minor tweaks to get it to fit perfectly.

Nice. What's the hole for? Pushing the weight/magnet out?

That looks good, I've been looking at making one of those, as I've been getting into older Scalextric and Nealy all need new tires and trueing and my Scale Auto truer won't do wheel and axle! Have you uploaded the files anywhere? I don't mind paying for the file! please let me know, I'm very interested!
Cheers,
John.

Nolakers design is closer to the RSM from Overdrive. I've not seen such a design posted to the normal sites yet.

it does. I tried the razor style, but it did not work well with the poor tolerances of fdm 3d printing. I seattled on an RSM style design, using an old slot car axle and flanged bearings in the pivot point, which works really well.

I was tempted by the 3Dexport 50% off sale and decided I needed some 60's saloon cars

The only non 3D print car is the Mini which I have had kicking around for years

Even after checking the size from several sources I was amazed at the size of the Galaxie !!
Despite its size it has a very thin wall section hence the patches where the supports broke the shell.

Yup, even at 1/32 those stockers are huge cars. Resin prints are tricky. I cure them with the support in and then cut the support in stages. Takes much more work than an FDM body. But as my wife says, you get what you pay for.
