I've designed and printed LED street lights/lampposts for my layout. It's got three different connections; one that connects the lights to a baseboard permanently; another that connects to the (Scalextric) track on temporary layouts; and one that uses a small jack and socket, so that the lights can be removed, if the layout is mobile. They all use the same base lamp and shade(?).

I'm just in the process of printing my starting lights gantry and I'm fairly happy with it. It has two 'modes': One to be just a blank board above the track to put your advertising (or whatever) on to; and another, which takes 15 LEDs on each side, connected to an Arduino, which, in my case, connects to Race Coordinator. More 'proper' pictures tomorrow.

Two iterations before moving to a motor pod design on my Scalextric Group C. Got a few design options, decided to separate the guide flag from the main chassis in order to further lower the front ride height. Still a work in progress (what 3DP isn’t). On a side I do struggle with my printer not sure what to do, various issues and inconsistencies lead to failed prints and rough finishing.

It is quite a nice file, always good work from @nimrod444 MoTF (Master of The Files).

The McLaren is very similar to the Strombecker 1/32 car which like many of their CanAm cars is pretty close to scale (the early cars were very small).

in fact, the frame is very similar in size to a 1/32 gt3 frame, of which I use all the mechanics

I've printed pods of all kinds in the past but never really happy with them, especially SW where space is limited.

I've revisited my FC130 inline pod, tweaked it a fair bit and printed one in the same resin I use for bodyshells.

I've done pods for bronze bushings, ball races and SlotIt spherical bushings - all adjustable height.

This one is for spherical bushings, adjustable height motor and axle.

I've ditched a couple of features my pods used to have, one of which was a built in centre pivot.

I've not printed a pod for months but a few builds recently need an IL pod so I thought...why not, let's try it again...and I like it!

That looks really good, unfortunately to late for me as I already purchased a resin body and had all the hassle of making a 2 part mould from it :( .
