hi all, ive just aquired an old mini rallycross set and i would like to remove the old waterslide stickers from the shells as they are worn and look nasty, whats the best way to remove them?

Should be able to wash them off with a mild kitchen scourer or scrape with a finger nail.

Don`t use scourers on the soft plastic body.
Let the body steep in a mixture of washing up liquid & luke warm water only (hot water will warp the body).
The transfers should simply rub off after a good steep & your body will also look brand new.

I would first try to remove them with adhesive tape. It should work.

You may find that some of what you want to remove was factory applied and may not be water slide.

cheers guys, i soaked both of the shells in warm water/washing up liquid and all of the transfers came off easily, i've ordered some new tyres for them and i will get some new transfers as well from scalextric car restorations, luckily they are only a 10 minute drive from me.
