Ok guys
let's see my favourite 3 cars of all time
Thinking back to my first recollection of any car that stood out to my had to be the Ferrari Dino 246 GTS the one that appeared in the seventies series THE PERSUADERS driven by Danny Wilde (Tony Curtis) WOW WHAT A CAR when I was growing up I wanted to be Danny Wilde.
Second car has got to be the first car I owned it was a 1969 1600 Ford Capri in Daytona yellow black vinyl roof wow what memories in the car was had at 18 years of age. sorry can't tell you any on this forum, so use imagination
3rd the humble mini well not the humble mini but the coopered type my brother had a 1340 cooper s and it seemed to go round corner as it was on rails (or in a slot) always wanted 1 but good never find a good one.

So there are my 3 favourite cars what's yours

So many cars..so little time..

Oh well, here's my first 3 options:-

Lamborghini Countach - because it had the fastest top speed in the top trumps card game..
Actually, it's THE early 80's car for me

Dodge Charger - specifically the General Lee. As a kid, I'd never seen such great television before. The V8 noise, the chases, the horrendous crashes kyuk kyuk (not to mention Daisy's legs. Puberty eh?)

Rover SD1 3500SE - best damn car I ever owned. Other reasons for liking it are similar to Dr. Sticky's for his Capri. The back seat dropped forward which left a rather long, flat area (not quite double bed sized!)

My top three,

1. Aston Martin, at the moment the DB9 but whichever model I like best when I finally win the lottery.

2. Mach 1 Mustang. The perfect muscle car in my eyes.

3. Toyota Celica Supra 2.8i. Best car I have owned.

1. Mini - the most love-able small car ever. Amazingly designed. British creativity at its best. (Girls think they're cute
)
2. F40 - made almost on my Birthday and the last car the great Enzo saw produced.
3. Orginal FAB1 - how cool! But then again, I was 6-7 years old
Loved all the little features.

Firstly, LOTUS 14 (Elite) best looking best handling and for me pure joy to drive, not only that , but for a single man in the early to middle sixties a wonderful girl magnet.

Secondly, Jaguar MkII 3.8 again a wonderful car to drive a little more useful for the late sixties and a married man.

Thirdly, Any Lexus. I just love them they have everything I want in a car for today.

For an MG nut my top three are a bit odd:

1: Mini - owned four - best fun ever (not BMW)

2: Caterham 7 - lived in Caterham for 20+ Years, always wanted one, evil quick, had one for a day on a test prior to novice championship, spun it and smashed rear, less than 10 miles from the showroom - didn't get into championship!

3: E-Type Jag - Beautiful! (enough said!)

1. McLaren F1 GTR - Needs no explaination, but I'll give one anyway...
No production car is faster to 60mph... No expense spaired... the ultimate car.

2. Lambourgini Countach - Because it is THE original supercar for me. Think fast and expensive and I think Lambourgini...

3. Aston Martin DB9 - Most beautiful car in the world EVER. Stunning because its got a huge tarmac munching mouth, and looks fast even when it's parked...
