I think you are on the right track with the Audi Tony.
If as you say the track is more high speed, then balance into and out of the curves is key to maintaining momentum. I suppose the Mosler is not an option for GT3, .

that is by far the most popular and usually successful is the Corvette C7R. The earlier C6 was also very popular and successful. The ASV had a
was once a popular choice but if you want the fastest its the Corvette C7R.

I did enjoy the BMW Z4. Just to get you even more confused. But, hey that's my penny's worth.

The Corvette C7R is actually the best choice ... sadly.

I've tried some of them and used the C6R the most, my son had the best results with the Audi, I liked the Z4 and was less than impressed by the ASV.

 

The Z4 and ASV use the same chassis.
The ASV is good round Molesey track, Z4 not so good.. work that one out..

Iv just got a C7R which Iv found to be better than my Z4, but I still got whooped by 2 ASVs..

My 997 is awesome.

Basically, at Oxford, on our bumpy Ninco, the NSRs are remarkably well matched.

 

Ended up buying an Audi R8 and a C7R, have to see how they go. Thanks for the advice

Well, out-the-box (sort of...) at my old club, the Corvette was King. After mods, the Z4 came around. Also the Aston was good with no vices -- reminds me, I've got a white kit Z06 I need to work on....

 

On my track Al there was very little between the Corvette and Audi in speed , but the Audi was more pleasant and forgiving. Especially deep in the curves.
