There are a few championships to tie up next week...

Mike D needs to score just ten points to retain his F1 title. Andy would need to win the race if Mike is a no-show. Behind them, it's a father-son battle between Mike and Stephen McCann for who gets that all-important third place. Mike is currently 5 points ahead.

Stephen also leads the F1 junior competition, a comfortable 80 points ahead of Ned. Behind them, Corey looks safe in third.

The F1 Classic Cup sees Tony lead Duncan by one point. However, Duncan will be in Brighton at a concert - so it looks good for Tony to add more silverware to his 2015 haul. Deborah has to catch up seven points to overhaul Ewan for third place.

Mike D clinched the Club Championship at the last round. Andy and John look set for second and third.

Neal also sealed the Rookie of the Year crown last time out. Hayley will be runner-up, with Barry currently in third.

As for the junior club title, Stephen is leading the way, but only ten points ahead of Ned. Corey is another 97 points behind. It looks like it could be a humdinger of a junior battle, with Stephen racing in his strongest class but Ned more than capable of challenging him. If level on points, the tie break would be junior medal wins - Ned has five, Stephen has four...

All the points tables are here.

It was a boisterous 24 on the grid tonight with a real end of term atmosphere. We welcomed Andy, Richard and Liam for their first races at the Barn, in preparation (we hope) for a very good 2016 Rookie of the Year battle.

It was a challenging and enjoyable track, where you could push but had to remember where to be careful...

It was certainly a competitive night, with a lot of of interest in Andrew's trusty scoreboard...

The heats scores were like this:

And the finals like this:

Stephen was devastated to miss out on the step-up to the A final - so he had to wait and hope that Ned would slip up...

But it didn't happen. Ned won the race and both medals (the third junior to do so this autumn)...

With Stephen missing out on the A final, Ned has already clinched the Junior Club Championship. But by winning the race, Ned pipped Stephen to the Junior F1 title by just 20 points. A superb championship-winning performance by Ned and WHO-best performances by Keith (second) and Daniel (third).

Well done to our 2015 F1 champions Mike, Tony (F1 Classic Cup) and Ned (Junior F1):

Really tough for Stephen at the end of a brilliant final season as a junior. He's more than capable of challenging for race wins and championships as a grown-up in years to come... Maybe even next year?

There are loads more pics over on Flickr.

Championship tables are here. And you shouldn't have to wait long for the video and Mike's Mcrace report.
