A bit slow for preston but a change of gear ratio to say 11-27 would probably help it along but realy a slot it 25 k is about minimum spec for a quick car If you need to run nc2 size for any reason then the boxer will perform well

I've got two motor mounts set up. A sidewinder 35k with 12:36 (1:3), and an inline NC4 with 9:28 (1:3.1). Hopefully one will go well. Turns out 35k's don't have any brakes, and no-one told me
, lol.

Also have a completly unprepared 956, which can take either of the above motor mounts also, and an equally unprepared Evo GT1 '98, with the small Fly Racing motor.

All ready to take my trued and treated proslots, but I will bring some Slot.It tyres too (who needs durability for a one day event?).

Can anyone (Graham?) comment on the relative competitiveness of these so that I know what to go for when I get there? I am missing Saturday practise, but will be there as early as it opens on Sunday.

Lotus

PS. What time will it open Sunday?
