Hello!
Have managed to buy Monaco 1992 - Williams Mansell & Senna McLaren, brand new, today! Have looked everywhere and found it in Denmark, www.racerbanen.dk/scalextric-c2971a-monaco-1992-williams-mansell-mclaren-p-369.html.

Now I wait patiently, do not! Want them now!

I can remember sitting in the front row of the swimming pool complex at Monaco watching these guys in these cars. Fantastic. We were so close we could look thru the drivers visors.

Do you speak Danish? That site is using my photographs to sell its Scalextric Aston Martin DB9. I don't mind people using them for their own non-profit use, but when somebody is making money from them and hasn't asked permission, it's a bit off.

I've emailed them about it but have been ignored. Can you or anyone translate into Danish for me something along the lines of: "Oi, you thieving b*@"%*, learn some manners and ask before making money from other people's work."

FYI - the pic in your post shows Senna's helmet detailed. In the actual set it is not. I did mine, but had to do it by hand/w-decals, etc...
Mansell's helmet, though, does have some paint detailing on it.

Yes, yes it is! It is both nostalgic and personal reasons (I am taking a master's degree and then it's a gift for me).

Unfortunately, I do not speak Danish and I'm sorry you've been cheated! Have searched for this set for quite a while and found one in New Zeland and one in Denmark. It is sold out everywhere else, like shopping in the UK otherwise, bought my digital car track from Jadlam racing and cables and pit lane project from RikoRocket

What wonderful pictures! S. .., it was them, I thought I bought! Is it possible to get the tires and stickers that are not on the cars. Why is there a difference?

My pictures are of set cars. You have bought the same set and your cars will look like mine, with Goodyear on the tyres. The difference between the photos is because the Scalextric picture you posted is, I think, a promotional mock-up done before they had real cars to photograph.

If you want to make them accurate representations of the real cars, you will need to add Marlboro and Camel decals and detail Senna's helmet.
