Ok folks, to help my fading brain cells I am holding a Competition...
QUOTE The winner will receive, totally free, a mystery NIB Slot Car.

All you have to do is reply here with a sensible, Jazzy, pertinant name for the Race Track Centre I am setting up here in Switzerland.

To help you with ideas here are some facts...

The business will be in Egg, Zürich.

There will be 3 tracks, All Scalextric and of the following types
1 - Micro Mania.
2 - 2 lane Classic.
3 - 6 lane Sport based on Magny Cours circuit in France with full landscaping.

It will be 1/32 specific but obviously 3 lane racing in 1/24 is also an option on a 6 lane Sport track.

You can email me direct from my profile or send a PM if you wish to know anything else that may occur.

Finally, remember that this is a German speaking Country, although the name does not have to be in German it should also not be too 'English language clever'

The Competition will run for two weeks from today, ending on 16th October at midnight. My partner and I will decide on the Winner and whether or not we end up using the name, that person will receive the prize.

The close of this Competition is also on the Calendar so you will be advised as the end date gets closer.

Have fun!

Well, I thinnk you should be a bit more patriotic (and historic) and remember the past Swiss "greats"

How about:

Regazzoni Raceway

OR

Siffert Speedway

(That's Clay Regazzoni and Jo Siffert - great Grand Prix drivers - to all you youngsters)

Since Tropi has said he isn't entering now, I'll nick his idea.

Alpen Rallye

Is the classic 2-lane track a fancy layout or just a simple ovule?

How about Ovum Raceway?

Best not to let Scott loose there, he likes his cars sunny side up!
