My much-loved first Scaley purchase has been without its "glass" for decades, following over-boisterous use in my initial slotting era.

Now I'd like to restore it towards its former glory and would like to re-fit some glass, but don't know where I might find a replacement piece. Can anyone help and point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

I've used clear plastic packaging and cut it to size but it can be difficult to glue
You could look out for spares or repair on Ebay or on line. I have just replaced a cracked windscreen on an old Airfix Cortina by using the plastic glass from an old diecast Escort which worked well.

Hi

I love scaley minis myself.

Other than buying a complete donor mini, which will leave you with the same problem of then missing a screen.

Try these, used them many a time and they are very professional and i can personally recommend them

www.secondhand-scalextric-shop.com

They have several in stock at the moment.

Good luck
