I just had to share this with you guys!
I won a weekends free driving (free kilometers) in a new Volvo V70 plus a full tank of petrol! And do you want to know how? ...ok, the local paper here in Lund, Sweden had a little slot competition on the main square in town today. It was only a small figure 8 track from a scalextric Formula 1 set. And the cars were GT40s with mags. I got the fastest time of the day and therby going straight to the finals, and there I went on to win first price! (I was almost tempted to go for second, being a Scalextric F1 set!) But in the end I wanted to win

And driving that Volvo around sounds sweet. Weekend trip with the miss's I guess.

Reminds me of the time my local shopping mall were doing a competition where if you could throw six dice and throw all sixes in one attempt you won a brand new Rover 200. Sounds easy but the chances are, I think, 1 in 46656 (6 raised to the power 6).

Anyway at this time some friends and I were playing Warhammer 40000 (Games Workshop wargame) and needing sixes on the dice, I proceeded to roll 4 of them in succession. Then the next was another 6 and as I went to roll again, one of my friends stopped me and inquired in all seriousness as to whether we should abandon the game and get over to the mall before the run of luck ended. I laughed and rolled anyway - a five!
