Reminds me of the photos from Monaco taken from Mirabeau looking down at
the right hander out of the station/Loews Hairpin.

What went on first? The gold, then mask then the blue?
Or was it a decal? K OZ, Patto or Michael at Indycals?

Thanks for the kind comments. I have to confess that the "gold" livery is an Indycal decal. Comes up a bit more beige than gold, but does the job very nicely.

I’ve made gold stripe decals (essential on Yardley BRMs) by spray-painting clear decal film. I don’t know if I’d have managed to get it to conform to all those curves around the cockpit, though. The wing endplate decals would be pretty tricky. But could maybe be done using clear decal film again over the gold. Sounds like a good challenge…..

Saw these a while back. Very tempted to get some now I have seen such a lovely finish.
