Aghhh! The date of October 7th was the date I had in mind for the 2012 Norwich Revival. Going to have the change that!

Looking forward to Early Birds (will this be an invite only event as per the last few years, or will there be an entries thread?), and also Bill's Brooklands Race, such a pity there wasn't a dedicated event for these cars.

See you in November, better get that build started!

Hi David,
Yes it's fine to add the dates onto the CSCRA calendar for 2012 to avoid clashes, There will be specific threads for the events later on where invites will be invited, however as normal Malcolm & myself reserve the right to allocate the entry places as we see fit for E-B, the MRE Classic and Historic Saloons meetings, as I assume Bill and Ian will for the Brooklands and Super Touring events.

Best Regards
Phil

Thanks Phil - I've added the dates in to the CSCRA calendar now.

And thanks for the complement Russell - and for the heads-up about the language issue. I think that's because I left the language setting at default rather than English. So I changed that, and took the opportunity to make a couple of updates on the site - and could I get the *5!#$!* to work afterwards? It's taken me the last 24 hours to sort it out....let me know if it's working for you now, please!

Many thanks, David. The calendar works perfectly now -- and it's in English! It's so much easier reading from left to right than it is from right to left; and having January on page 1 rather than page 12!

With kind regards,

I would hope Phil and the Wolves team are all enjoying a well earned rest following last weekends saloon event, so there is no urgency required in replying to this post.

I'm just curious to know if the cut off date for the 2012 Le Mans event has been decided? I expect a final decision has yet to be agreed, so shall patiently await the answer in eagar anticipation.

Cheers.
Dave

Hi David,
A rest - chance would be a fine thing, except there is none for the wicked they say!

Malcolm, Bill and myself need to sit down and agree the details for E-B 2012 first as that's the first one on the calendar (I have some thoughts as I'm sure Bill does) however Malcolm will be running the event with our help and as soon as he's happy I'm sure the details will be posted on the Forum and entries invited. Hopefully the triumvate can also discuss the LM and Saloons for next year and once we are all satisfied that we are going in the right direction again details will be posted.

I can however state that the dates of these meetings are fixed in the calendar and these will not be changed. I would also expect that people who have attended any of the Wolves classics in 2012 would be given a chance to register and pay for their entries first and then remaining spaces would be offered perhaps with preference given to those who have never had the chance to attend a Wolves Classic next. I would also expect that given the current economically difficult times that entry fees will be pegged at current rates as they were this year.

Will post more info as it becomes available

Best Regards
Phil

Hi Mick,

No the super tourers won't happen this year, I'm too busy at work currently to organise this as well as the club stuff.

So hopefully next year around the same time may be more fruitful
