Probably best to replace them with foam tyres. Not sure where you are from - if the US then try Professor Motor or Smith Scale Speedway or
if the UK/Europe try Pendleslot AB Slotsport

Foam tires usually harden and loose grip as they age. On commercial raceways in the US you would put traction compound on foam tires, but few people like the mess that can make on home tracks. All of our tracks are wood and we use silicone tires, but for the most part those are only available for 1/32nd cars. You can get better grip if you vondition your foam tires with suntan lotion. Another thing to try is to coat the tires with silicone. In the US you can get new foam tires from Parma.
