I have put up a couple of track plans before but i think at long last i have found some inspiration !!! Saw some pictures of Autodromo Algarve and decided to try to loosley base my track on this
Although this is drawn using ssd i am hoping i might use blst system hence no lane change showing on plan and either ssd digital or Oxigen for pitlane and start finish and rms etc.
Anyway below is Track plan along with couple of pics of the vip suite and pit building
Any and all comments would be really appreciated thanks Dave

Hi again Wookie

I can see it now, weird picture, mostly blank.

I think this looks exellent.
I liked your last plan, but this one takes it to another level.
I would personaly love driving this track.

I do a lot of drawing & find it easy to relate paper to 3D reality.
You've got some real good corners here.
I think it would have a genuine long term exitement to it.

Cheers

Si.

What is blst system ?

I think you did an amazing job to get that track down into 1:32 without loosing the joy for driving. It looks like it will be a wonderful track to drive.

I would personally try to find the room to stretch out the track a little bit so there is more empty space and room for borders for sliding in the corners. My eyes are not as young as they used to be, but it seems to me that if you would just put normal Scalextric borders in some of those corners, they would interfere with other corners in some places, so not much room for magless racing and sliding cars without the possibility to hit a car on the close track parts.

Does some of those arrows on your layout point to elevation?

Thank you both for your comments

Si
BLST is Best lane slot track its the idea of David Caille the best way to see it is by going on his website Sillage Racing or by searching BLST on this Track Forum
It is a brilliant concept in my opinion

Mind
This track is drawn in ssd but the idea is that David Caille will do this track in BLST this means it will be routed and David will tweek it for borders etc i hope
The arrows are only showing track direction not elevation

Wookie,
what is the scale of your track (i.e. dimensions) as the markings on the axes start at 0.1m, then increase, then decrease back to 0.1m.

Thanks.
