keysandslots,

Would you mind telling us which model of IKEA cabinet you bought? It seems a great solution for small areas.
Also, did the slide out tray come with it or is it an add on?

Many thanks.
Cheers!

I'm a bit late coming to this thread, sorry been busy doing something of little importance.
I really have to say that are you lot really into slot cars? I don't see anything familiar here. I look and I can work benches. I look in my garage and I can't see the work bench all is see is bits of things and tools. I can't believe that you people can keep your work areas so clean. Even the semi untidy ones make mine look like a F1 workshop compared to mine. Guess I need to have a tidy up.

Now you see I have a bench somewhere? but it's underneath so much rubbish I can't find it.... I am now making a honest attempt to reclaim it, caused by this thread, we use so much "stuff" in this hobby it's unbelievable, I have:
Bits of track
Bits of Cars:
Chassis and motors, motor pods, bodies...
Bits of scenery
boxes of tyres
Oils, and lubricants
Tools galore
old rags
three soldering irons
truer
bits of brass tubing
Lots of "Justin Case" bits
Dremmel and all the associated bits with stand
Just found a ships propeller! (1:32 Scale)
Tub of Plaster ready mix
Hot Glue gun
Multimeter's x 2
box of Homies
box of different types of scatter
insulation Tape Red White and Blue
Set-up block
stand for car's that have had their tyres oiled
My race box
Laptop
Magnet marshal
Paints (Acrylics for working scenery)
empty packets of tyres
Steel plate + magnets
Tooth brush for cleaning stuff.
Box of decals
box of LED's
Solder

The thing is I cant find the bench, but I know where everything is on the bench!

When I see it again I'll post a photo.

That sounds like my workshop so I grabbed what I needed and moved to the desk in the study ;-)

I was tempted to get a fire extinguisher in the workshop but figured with 25ltr of isopropyl in there it would probably be safer just to run like hell lol
