Yes hadnt seen the thread about the Wrexham event, calender is still crowded even in October and November. Ive just done Eastcote 24hr last week, its SWGT in Devon this week, LGTC the week after. Actually got a week off after that before Digital 24hr in Belgium!

I dont think Phil can alter the Rally date as the Hall is booked.

Will try to get the date out earlier next year.

Oh, I'm very tempted.

I'll have to "encourage" a few others to come to share the driving and make sure I get up very early on a Sunday.

Route planner reckons it's three and half hours each way - that means leaving my house at 6:30am! Still, leaving early in the dark, driving to Wales to a rally is just like the old days of following the RAC. Can I enter a 6R4 in the classics to complete the nostalgia?

6R4! They don`t even let them in real Post Historic rallying never mind Classics.
Perhaps next year we can have a Post Historic and Group 4 class!!
With Quattro`s ,Mark 2`s, Lancia int`s, 205`s etc all from that era and let in resins(like my Roger Clark Cossack Escort).

Cheers - Phil B.

Couple of queries!

In the WRC class can the Ninco Celica run an SCX motor in the proper bracket? It's not modifying the chassis, but it is changing the "pod"!

Is the Lancia 037 too new for "classic" ?

And......three.....there are three queries.........is there a street name we can programme into the sat nav? The new one's got sat nav I assume, Scott!

Should be at least 2, possibly 3 or 4 there to join in the fun, if that's OK!

Hi - sorry I`ve been away for a couple of days - as long as you`re not cutting the chassis I read it as an adapter is Ok.

Phil Field wants to keep it simple so only cars listed are eligible- I think the 037 would come into the Post Historic / Group 4 era so maybe next year!

Street name is Brecon Road, we`ll put up some 1/32 racing signs to guide you to the social club which is at the rear of the hospital next to an old mansion. Post code is NP7 7EG for a printed route.
cheers - Phil B.
