Going back to the MG at the top - I'm afraid it doesn't appeal to me at all.
If I didn't already know what it was and had to guess, I would have thought perhaps a Nissan gone wrong.
All the new MGs have managed to look like the Rovers they were based on, other than first having been very well beaten with the 'Ugly Stick'. This one cleverly manages the ugly trick all by itself, without benefit of any Rover siblings.
Ugly can have an appeal all of its own, but only to a tiny minority of quirky individualists. It's about time the MG enclave within Rover realised that, if they want to sell cars in quantity, they should incorporate an element of grace and sophistication about the appearance of their cars rather than just gluing big lumps of scrap plastic and metal onto a fairly mundane basic shape.
depends what mood I'm in.. some times scratch builds.. some times rtrs..
er cant exactly drive.. but..
I have aquired MK1 Fiesta which doesnt work and is in a friend of a friends garage
Lotus Elite (which I promptly sold
XR3i which the parents wont let me keep and it's not insurance friendly
so when I have sent my £30 to the rip off agency er I mean DVLA for my provisional license and paid my whopping £700 insurance quote for a 1.2 fiesta
I will then be driving.. may want to take a look in the pit lane..
p.s finding quotes on direct line...
p.p.s you do know insurance companies will take you for a ride if you even mention the words RWD and 17..
yeah but i have heard a rumor of mg doing a tuned version of that car with nos nearly 900 bhp
but anyway minis arent that bad to work on and what is wrong with a fwd car
modded minis can be made faster than most cossies anyway 300bhp 11000 rpm less than 4 seconds to 60 ,8 cylinders any mk2's that will beat that?
