Most motor racing folk look back to their favourite eras from time to time because we have brains that store memories. Like all 'disciplines' motor sport, in all its forms, has gone through highs and lows, but even during troughs, we can often reflect on something that has been stored in our minds with affection.

Definitely not one being driven by by ghost :eek:. Probably part of the background but definitely look like an outline of a driver there.
Gérhard Mitter during his early Formula Vee days. After a mixed bag of success in sports cars and F1, he lost his life driving a F2 BMW during practice for the 1969 German GP. He was just 33.
