Most motor racing folk look back to their favourite eras from time to time because we have brains that store memories. Like all 'disciplines' motor sport, in all its forms, has gone through highs and lows, but even during troughs, we can often reflect on something that has been stored in our minds with affection.

The 312P is one of my favorite cars, although I am somewhat partial to the coupe over the spyder. Still, I had to have them.....

I do like the Howmet cars together. Fun to see the blue/red liveries. Obviously I will need the file. 😂😂
They tend to be forgotten, but McKee built several nice cars and the turbines were fast when running. I have always wished they would have won more just for the sake of the turbine tech. Not that you could run one at today's prices.

Here's my battered old 312P. A polycarbonate body it ran well, but I was never entirely happy with its shape, especially at the rear, so I used the chassis for something else.

I have a Gussin resin kit hidden away....he did lovely work off the Aurora car.
I have been too afraid to race it to actually build it up. Not so with the 3DP.
Lexan / polycarbonate are light, and it looks reasonable although the rear is a compromise with all the running gear back there and no tapering in.
