Another Film is called "Twin Town" a comedy, it features a few shots of a very nice Scalextric classic setup .

The other famous one is in Pulp Fiction .

I might add the small and large (Revell) Batman tracks. Wow! Were Revell set cars really that slow?

I love the use of the air filter as as bridge. What manufacture were the set and cars. I can’t recall.

By the way, I think Peter would have likely been a teenager rather than a young pre teen boy. He also grew up in So Cal. He does not have an English accent. It’s a typical non-descript “California”accent.

I'd forgotten about the Scalextric cars in 'Twin Town.' It's a dark comedy that everyone should watch.
