I think I broke my Arc Pro. It could be any number of reasons…
1 ) I use a 12v dc power supply as opposed to the 15v one. It should be steady as it’s a Server Power supply. It’s been running my track for at least 2 years and seems to still work. I tried the original Arc PSU and still only get red light.
2) I’ve unsoldered and resoldered the track to Arc wires to add extensions. Currently I’ve taken the wires off the track to confirm no track issues.
3) It happened at the same time as I thought I was flashing a controller from Oxigen to Hornby Arc Pro. I used the DFU APP connected to what I thought was the Controller and flashed. Was this a coincidence or can the ARC PB be flashed without putting it in DFU mode??
I read an instruction saying that the ArcPro. An be put in DFU mode by turning it on while holding the mode button and reset buttons but I can’t see them anywhere.
so please if there are any ideas I can try or if you’ve blown one up and modded it does Hornby fix it for you despite probably voiding every Warranty it may have had.
