Does anybody happen to know the name or source for the offest telecom adapters that Carrera uses for their controller cables? They are very similar to a standard 4-conductor RJ-14, but the keyway is offset.....

Look below:
Carrera RJ-?

And the angle view:

Here is a standard RJ-11 (this one is only two conductor, but the jack is the same as the four wire RJ-14 and six wire RJ-25.....)

And an angle view of the RJ-11, two conductor:

I am not sure that you can buy them? Its an offset RJ11 6/4

Someone who might know is Maurizio at Slot.it. They will have had to scource some for their new controller.

Thank you! I am still on the fence with regards to wireless.....
I think I am leaning towards the mach2race solution.....

Hey guys,
the easiest solution is cut off 3 or 4 inches of the plug, then hardwiew the plug to your layout or black box. Then you can use standard phone jacks around your layout, and crimp standard phone jacks on your controllers. Simple and works great. I'm out of town for another couple of weeks, but I will post pics of my driverstations....they look very professional, plus its a very cost effective solution.
