Has anyone successfully incorporated this sound simulator setup in your layout? My understanding is they are used primarily for RC cars & trucks, but there are a few videos on YouTube where folks have used it on slot cars. The videos dont go into any real detail about how to wire it up, but it sure looks and sounds pretty cool to me.

I'll make an experiment to convert a slot car track to wireless using and RC receiver/ESC and controller. The electronics I'll use are meant for RC micro crawlers and already have a sound kit, I could activate it to try but the sounds are for a diesel truck (complete with air brake sounds and all), which would be strange for a race car
I still don't have the electronics, I'll report when I get them.
I've seen some arduino or similar projects to add custom sounds to RC cars, I don't think it'll be much trouble converting that to a slot car setup.
