Sounds like a great class to race in Driver.
When I was a kid the Tyrrell 008 was the one to beat at our club when it first came out. It`s still a nice car to look at.
Cheers,
Kev.

I've got a Ferrari 312T with new tyres and a set of Indycals decals, could be tempted to trade for an Indy!

Just a note to you guys I would also be willing to produce molds for rep pops of these classics if there was interest,
Resin bodys not lexan. Would be also willing to do a collaboration with some one in a club were I pore the body's and send them over to the counter who in turn would complete the kit. Catch is would need a body to mold in rtv and then send back. I love casting resin.

Paul: You may find bidding tamer and cheaper on Scalex reliveries like the Pennzoil, Casio, Watts and Sieger cars. I posted a list last December and it's on page 9 of this thread.
As well as colours and decals, some of the motors and guides changed, but the bodies are the same.
One correction to my list: The red on the C352 Watts Racing F1 (Renault RS01) does not peel off.

Ok once more I am bidding on now 6 cars and will no by the end of July if I will get them from the famous Epay game, if not can I tempt any one in a offer of $50 American dollars via paypal to get three of these cars. Just the simpleness of these things just get to me. Love um.

My Shadow DN1a needed a bit of filler...

But turned out nicely, using a Sharpie to blur the line between the paint and decals...

The BRM is deceptively simple. Anything that could go wrong did, but she's a racer...

All three of my Seventies cars, for our classic F1 series at Farnham:

Lotus 77 with Jean-Pierre's decals for Gunnar Nilsson... with a bit too much Sharpie but luckily I can patch the smudged lines with spares from my JPS BMW...

Hi Yelolow bug
I,ve got a BRM without a air box ,so you,d have to knock something up for that, but you are welcome to have it for the cost of the postage if its any good to you
what you have to be careful of with all these open bottom 70.s scalextric F1 cars is that the wheelbases are far too short.i think the BRM is one of the better ones and you can move the rear axle back and it makes a quite nice model
If you want it PM me with your adress details

Cheers tony

you really made a beauty with this one. very nice. at first I thought the donor car was polistil. they looked quite the same (or I always thought they were polistil and in fact it were scalex cars)
