Tamiya TS10 would do ok, Alan - a bit pale but ok. Dunno about Halfords.

I use Halfords Ford Electric Monza Blue for all my Matras.

- BTW, we're back in UK early October, but the wrong side of London (Essex) and down to the bottom, so still won't catch up.

 

Thank you guys for all your help...I've now got a can of Monza Blue and Tamiya TS 10 to try out, so great advice there.

Ive used Tamiya TS10 on a MS670 Graham Hill Le Mans winner converted from the French Scalextric car. Im happy with how it turned out, although, to be picky, it is slightly more turquoise than other models Ive seen. Maybe Matra changed shades as time went on, as this colour looks much like photos of the MS120 F1 car?

 

Hi Alan.

The Matra 650 is painted using Halfords Monza Blue. The MS120 is painted using Tamiya TS10. Hope this helps.
