Hello again slotters!

It’s been a while, but I’ve been very active. When I first moved to France about two and a half years ago finding a local club was important to me. The nearest is at Neuvic, known as NCPC, with fabulous facilities. It boasts two large tracks, a Ninco six-lane and a Carrera four-lane. Both run analogue and digital using the superb Davic system. The club has a kitchen, bar and dining space for up to 50 people. There is even a lift up to the club room. Recently a second building adjacent to the club has been commissioned with toilets and shower. This room will shortly have a superb six-lane track. In June this year (2022) NCPC are holding a 24 hour race in the huge downstairs room on three six-lane Scaleauto tracks. Yours truly is entering a team for this. I’ll keep you posted.

thanks Graham for reminding us about the NCPC .
That's a very nice place to be and it was shortly re-opened after some years of huge work .
the NCPC team has always organized high-level events and their kindness is matched only by their efficiency
I remember they also had a nice wood-track . Is it still in place ?

Just to say I am the guy who introduced Graham to Neuvic, we have our AGM this Saturday followed by some BRM 1/24th. I'll be managing the team for the June 24hrs race, it's going to be very busy as it's just two weeks after the Bordeaux saloons for which I have already assembled bodies and decals. The new wood track is a recovered one, so needs lots of refettling. We have been made very welcome and find the ambiance extremely 'sympa'. Graham and I have just started another club at Graham's home town of Verteillac so I am really happy to be so involved as so many activities have either ceased or are a shadow of their pre-pandemic selves.

If only we had tracks, facilities and the interest required to run them over here…..!
If we get to spend time at my daughter‘s home near Souillac, then I will try and get up to visit.

We had the AGM of the Neuvic club yesterday finishing with the BRM 1/24 touring cars. Yours truly hadn't trued the tyres on his British Airways Escort so lots of tail hopping. Work to do. The big event this year will be a ScaleAuto Championship 24hr race over the weekend of June 17th to 19th. Ian Vincent was present selling some of his huge collection, what a gold mine!

Further to the above, my team is looking for another driver for the 24hr event, We have three and need at least four up to a max of six. PM me if you are interested? Car will be a ScaleAuto Viper prepared by Graham Lane, with mine acting as 'mulot'.
