This livery of Scalextric car is built in super‐resistant format making it a tough little car to resist the bangs and knocks of rallying.

It is fitted with DPR so that the C8515 Digital chip can easily be installed for multi‐car‐per‐lane racing.

Wilson and Solberg were retained in 2011 with Mads Østberg and Evgeny Novikov joining the team. The best finishes were two second places in Sweden and Wales. Like in the previous seasons the team finished 3rd behind the works entries of Ford and Citroën.

For the second year in a row, France's 2011 World Rally Championship qualifier will took place in the country's Alsace region to the east following its move away from Corsica, the event's home from 1973 until 2008.

A nice-looking car, except for the windows. It seems to me that this sort of car has a very limited appeal. It's not suitable for the shelf, because of the windows. It's not suitable for proper competition, because of the windows. And if kids are going to crash them it's of no real interest to them if the livery is accurate or not. No doubt it's cheap to produce, because of the windows and no interior, and therefore profitable.

I hate these cars with no interior! I refuse to buy the Aussie V8s even though I think the real cars are great because they are "windowless" Even HO cars are starting to appear with interiors......

QUOTE (Mel101 @ 20 Mar 2013, 21:09) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Is it ok if I say I love the looks of this car?
Me too. Fortunately my son is now 13 and has plenty of his own cars to wreck, leaving mine alone. If I were buying for a youngster this would be very high on the list, but have to say might just get one for myself as well.

Hi

Black out windows look cool - they were an expensive option on my Audi....

--------------------

What more expensive than having to tick fhe options box for the windows themselves.

Options lists for German cars are like reading war and peace,
