I’ve been looking at Tamiya TS white paints and noticed that their TS7 Racing White appears to be a creamy off-white on the online color charts. Does anyone know how off-white it appears over white primer? Was it made to match the ivory appearing Chaparral 2F model? I’m building a white GT3 BMW M6 with the Turner LiquiMoly blue and red livery. Is there any advantage to using a white color coat vs. simply clear coating the white primer before applying the decals?

The decals are from Slotfabrik. They are of a slightly different version of the livery. Pattos, my usual source also has it, I believe. I wanted to try a different maker for a change.

Painting tomorrow as the weather is turning unseasonably warm for a few days. TS26 over Tamiya white primer. Can’t wait to try out the decals.

The Slotfabrik decals are very nice - bright color, sharp detail and sturdy enough for a clumsy old man to move around and fit to contours with a little Microset. I used Tamiya clear as I haven’t found anything better here in the US. Thanks for the paint and decal advice.
