Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to slot cars and am looking for a little bit of help. I live near New York City and am trying to find the best sources for slot cars, tracks, and accessories in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area. Who sells the most and who has the biggest selection? I have a (real) car and don't mind driving around a little bit to find the best selection. I'm really looking for places where I can go see and touch lots of the products I see pictures of online. Thanks a lot!

Mainline Hobbies. They advertise on SCI and they stock parts from Slot-it, BWA, maybe others, and tires from PPR and Indygrip. They have a great selection of cars as well as a 6 lane Scalextric Sport track. There service is top notch.

here's their website

In Scotch Plains NJ is just about the best shop in the NYC area. It's New Jersey Nostalgia Hobbies. It's got the largest selection of cars and parts in 1/32 scale and tons of HO stuff as well (if you're into that kinda thing). Also north of NYC in Cortlandt (Westchester County) is Bud's HO. He's got a pretty good selection of cars but very few parts.

BTW, where do you live? I live in Nanuet NY, in Rockland County. There are lots of slotcar guys in the North Jersey, New York, Long Island, Connecticut area.
