FLY will do the Alfa TZ2. I think DTM cars from the late 80s - early 90s would be great.

 

Their BMW CSL and RS Capri look great, perhaps FLY would make this for me....

 

Sideways has a lovely one - and several other Escorts, as well!!

Only 1500 road going cars were ever made for the UK market only and it is estimated that less than 500 still exist.

Alfa Romeo 8C Competzione would be sweet. I don't have any Fly cars but it sounds like if they made it it would be fairly close to the real thing. Look fantastic. Sound great (err, wish slot cars sounded better). Maybe not drive so well. And possibly fall apart over the years.

But it's a gorgeous car and I want someone to make it!

Any Ferrari 512s shorttail, but from I hear that's impossible b/c they used the shorttail spyder to make the berlinetta which was used to make the coda lungs...so on that case, howabout Tetsu Izukawa's Porsche 917k as raced at the Fuji Masters in 1971 in Piper Green?

The Metro 6R4 is a favorite of mine. I would love that.

I don't really care what Fly make as the ones I've got run so badly out of the box I won't be buying anymore.

 

Ive owned around 20-30 Fly cars & never had one that I couldnt get to run well. Most of the cars ran well straight out the box.
I buy these cars for their looks not track performance.

 

Ok this one is a long shot but you never know, I'd love to see Fly do the Alfa GTV 2.0

How about the Gr.2 Capri and BMW 3.0 CSL ?

 

The TWR XJS is at the top of my list but Fly wont make it because there is not enough livery choices. Discounting the Group 44 entry which had the large arch extensions, I believe the XJS only raced in two liveries, the white Motul version and of course the famous BRG ones, just not enough to make it viable for Fly to make, Carrera or Scalex maybe?

However what about this?

With Fly's disregard to Tobacco avertising, they are one of the few that could do this, along with all the other *** based liveries Barclay, Marlboro and Citanes that it raced in. Plus loads of other non-ciggy ETCC and BTCC liveries, and what about Tony Ponds Computervision RAC Rally version, would keep em busy for a while!

Nope, the car that DJ posted is the Grp.5 Escort, but it shares the same "Mampe" livery with the more famous Grp.5 Capri.

 

Speedster, the car I posted on page 1 was a Capri. It has nothing to do with the car DJ posted. When you said it wasn't a Capri, you were quoting me and accidentally making reference to *my* pic, not DJ's. However I think I see how you got confused. The question was, "What one car do you want Fly to make?" I was making a bit of a joke by saying that Fly already made my favorite car.

Anyway, here's a bigger pic of the car I posted on page 1.

 

I am enjoying these lists, but maybe the timing is not the best since most if not all of the companies will have their 2010 releases already working!?

I put this under the Pro-slot list in error as I think Fly would make a good job of it based on their other F1 cars, such as the 1976 March. I don't think it would be iconic enough for Salextric, but would go excellently alongside the Ferrari and McLaren of that year. I would like to see a full 1976 grid.
