As the title says where can I buy Aurora AFX spares. (apart from ebay)
I must have had my Jaguar Challenge for 10 years now. And being rather young 10 years ago I couldn't do much about repairing them. but now I can

I don't even think I've run it for the past 8 years. just been sitting in the box waiting.
I tested them earlier and some dont having working front lights. some dont have working rear lights. and one just doesn't work and needs new rear wheels.

You are also fairly near what is perhaps the best HO club in the UK, depending on your exact location. I am sure the guys there will help you sort some stuff, and get you into the racing side of things if you fancy it.

Check them out here:

As you can see they are a fun, vibrant club that goes racing in a proper way, but with the emphasis on having fun.

What cars do you have? You mentioned lights so it sounds like the bulky Group C bodies with the seperate light 'decks' screwed inside. You can get better Group C bodies (as well as many others) that will help the cars run better, without breaking the bank...

Jaguar Challenge is a great set, makes a really nice 4 lane track, it comes with two Jaguar XJR9s and two Porsche 962s, I bought one off EBay last week for ÂŁ20, if Tony (HORacingAhead) or Barry can't supply you with lights give me a shout as I've got several sets you can try for free as I just take them out of the car - only downside is you'll have to collect them from one of Deane's EAHORC meetings, the Kent meeting is on the 16th of January, they'll be competitive cars and controllers to race with, so why not come along.

And you're very welcome to join us in Worthing for some HO club racing

The 2011 season starts on Wednesday 12 January.

Club cars and controllers are always available.

We'll also have a limited supply of spares in our new club shop - mainly for the Tyco 440x2, Tomy Turbo, SG+ and Mega-G. But no bulbs for the Turbo I'm afraid.

I think you would need a bit of extra circuitry to drop in led bulbs. Google throws up lots of diy projects though on how to do this. If you come up with a simple circuit for drop in led lights let me know, as I have several chassis with the lens already there.

I don't know how much extra weight would be introduced by powering leds of button cells and ignoring the track power.

I was thinking more of the the cheaper mini bulb type christmas lights as a direct swap.
