another 1/24 Mini... "Rallye Monte Carlo"

This is a scatchbuilt 1/24 Tamiya Morris Mini Rallye Monte Carlo by Jairus. Front wheel drive brass chassis by Jairus and a beautiful painted interior by Jairus. The car was painted by me.

Your usual nice job. But GOODYEAR TIRES??? Man, we ran our Minis on 10" X 4" Minilites and DUNLOP SP SPORT tires! Goodyear NEVER made such sizes anyway. And a full-face helmet? Quel faux pas as they say in Frogland!
I have fond memories of my several Mini-Coopers which I raced in the late 1960's mostly in hillclimbs in Frankistan. What fun they were...
