Why do they hop out of the slot Greg ?

Are you running non mag ?

Have you tried some lead right up the front ?

I believe that that the guides are too short as they were designed to run on classic track. I have removed the tiny button magnet and replaced it with a small neo bar magnet that is not as strong as the standard bars as used on new cars for sport track.

I haven't tried lead yet

 

If they are the original classic track guides then they will need changing

Can you swap in some of the new guides ?

Also are the front wheels touching the track and holding the car up ?

Have you done everything to lower the stance like re configuring the braids SCX style and shimming up the front axle? Are the front wheels as wide as the body will allow? Are the body screws loose to allow the body to roll without the chassis?

of course you can do this even if the guide is deeper!
